begin on December 24, 2024, with Pope opening the Door at St.
Peter's Basilica. On December 29, 2024, the Holy Door at St.
John Lateran, the Pope's Cathedral, will be opened. This event
will be mirrored worldwide, with Bishops leading similar

opening of the Jubilee Year. Hence, the same event will take
place in our Diocese on 29.12.2024, at St Joseph's Cathedral at
8.30 a.m. Bishop, holding the Jubilee Cross and leading the
gathering with a solemn procession to the doors of the Cathedral
and entering the doors which symbolize Christ as the "Door of
Salvation." I request all the Clergy from across the diocese to
offer mass in their respective parishes and take part in this
significant liturgical and symbolic event.

The

Labor
Day Gathering - May 15, 2025
On
the occasion of Labor Day, a small yet
meaningful gathering was held on May 15, 2025,
at the Kanati Estate, managed by the Montfort
Fathers. Approximately 15 individuals, including
children, participated in this event. The focus
of the gathering was to engage in a discussion
on the wise use of daily wages for the
betterment of their families and the future of
their children. Particular emphasis was placed
on the importance of education as a vital means
for long-term progress and empowerment. The
laborers who attended listened attentively and
reflected deeply on the ideas shared. It was
heartening to see their genuine interest and
their desire to take steps towards improving
their lives and investing in the education of
their children. I would like to extend my
sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Jnyanaprakash, the
Montfort priest and the in-charge of the estate,
for his warm invitation and wholehearted support
in organizing this event. His encouragement was
instrumental, and he generously arranged
refreshments for all who attended. The gathering
commenced at 5:00 p.m. and concluded by 5:30
p.m., lasting approximately half an hour. It was
indeed a fruitful and inspiring session.

Parochial Feast
St
Joseph's Church, Hirebile, joyfully celebrated
its 82nd Annual Parochial Feast on May 1st,

the Blessed Sacrament was held, giving thanks to
